In our previous post we described how to create a white-list registry key in windows to be able to automatically open apps from Google chrome.
We received some inquiries about how to white-list other protocols/links for different applications.
The main issue is you have to know which protocol or link is used by the program you want to white-list.
The AINA (Internet Assigned Numbers Authority) keeps an official list of browser protocols on their website.
You can also find a list of browser protocols on wikipedia
Unfortunately a lot of Applications use a URI scheme which is not listed or registered. We are working on creating a list for all these protocols.
